Step 1- choose a trial lesson type

Trial lessons are required in order to assess rider before entering the lesson program.

The information provided below pertains to a beginner-level trial lesson. The topics we cover will be tailored to match the student's skill level during the trial.

Option 1-30 minute private trial lesson: $100

Meet your instructor, view the facility and meet our horses! Students are introduced to basic horsemanship and safety skills on the ground. Leading and grooming only.

Option 2- 60 minute private trial lesson: $175 

Offers the same as the 30 min trial lesson plus ride time.

  • Learn about the grooming tools and how to use

  • Tacking/untacking 

  • Equipment names 

  • Learn horse body language signals

  • Introduction to horse terminology

  • Mounting and dismounting

  • Learn how to steer the horse around the arena

  • Learn how to stop and turn

  • Introduction to trotting
